ECO 201 - Principles of Economics I Macroeconomics

Prerequisite(s): demonstrated proficiency on the placement examination or successful completion of ENF 1  or ENF 2 , MTE 1 , MTE 2 , MTE 3 , MTE 4 , MTE 5 .
Introduces macroeconomics including the study of Keynesian, classical, monetarist principles and theories, the study of national economic growth, inflation, recession, unemployment, financial markets, money and banking, the role of government spending and taxation, along with international trade and investments. Passport Certified Course. Lecture 3 hours per week.
