Bookstore
Of course, you will need textbooks and other supplies for your classes. No need to spend time searching around for what you need, SVCC has got you covered! Textbooks and course materials are available in the bookstore on both the Christanna and Daniel Campuses. For students attending classes at the other sites, you may go online to order your books. All students may take advantage of online ordering at: https://www.bkstr.com/southsidevccstore/home/en items can be shipped (for a fee) or picked up at a Campus Bookstore. Financial aid, credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Follett gift cards can only be used for online purchases. Financial aid is only available for books, supplies, and technology purchases directly related to your program of study and only for a limited time at the beginning of each semester. Contact a campus store for more details on restrictions.
Hours
On-campus hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. (Summer hours vary.)
Extended evening hours are available at the start of each semester – look for signs with details.
Please note that the College bookstores are operated by Follett Campus Stores, a third-party vendor.
Standard Return Policy:
A valid receipt and/or packing slip are required for all refunds or exchanges. All items (except Course Materials and Hardware/Software) which are unopened and in original condition, and returned within 30 days of purchase, may be exchanged or refunded to the original form of payment.
Course Materials (Textbooks) and Hardware/Software Details:
A full refund will be given for textbooks (excluding Final Sale items) returned prior to your campus-specific refund deadline. Materials purchased after the campus-specific deadline (but before the final week of class) must be returned within two business days of purchase. Materials purchased during the last week of classes or final exams are not returnable/refundable.
Final Sale items include the following:
Digital Textbooks, Study Guides, Test Prep Books, Bar Charts, Cliff Notes, Professional Reference Study Aids, clearance items and magazines. All these items are not returnable/refundable.
Hardware & Software:
Unopened (unless defective) computer hardware and software may be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
Two Easy Ways to Return:
1. Return to the original bookstore.
2. Return by mail. Note: we do not refund shipping and handling fees.
