ENE 100 - Conventional and Alternate Energy Applications 4 credit(s) Prerequisite(s): ELE 176 or instructor approval Provides an overview of hydroelectric, coal, and nuclear energy production methods and renewable solar, geothermal, wind, and fuel cell technology. A complete system breakdown of conventional power production methods, efficiency, and sustainability when compared with solar, geothermal, wind, and fuel cell applications. Offered as a dual enrollment (concurrent) course.
Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
Prerequisite: ELE 176 or instructor approval.
