CHM 101 - Introductory Chemistry

Prerequisite(s): demonstrated proficiency on the placement examination or ENG 111  ready, and MTE 1 -MTE 5  .
Emphasizes experimental and theoretical aspects of inorganic, organic, and biological chemistry. Discusses general chemistry concepts as they apply to issues within our society and environment. Designed for the non-science major.This is a dual enrollment course. Passport Certified Course. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week. Part I of II.
